OBIT - NELSON Maynard Guy (Nellie) (Pops)
Maynard Guy (Nellie) (Pops) Nelson, 79, of Salem, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 31, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis L. Nelson. Mr. Nelson was the owner of Nelco Industrial Cleaning and a member of Faith Fellowship. Surviving are four daughters, Rhonda Gibson, Manah St.Clair, Terri Payne, and Lisa Craig; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Mike Correll and Pastor James Pentecost. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

{REST} The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707.
