Funeral services for Jimmy Cummings, 35, of Route 3, Portageville, were held Thursday evening, March 2, at the Boekerton Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Foster officiating.
Mr. Cummings was born in Dyer County, Tenn. on July 25, 1925 and died February 28 in St. Louis, Mo.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sarah Clark of Portageville, two daughters, Dana Lynn Cummings and Carlos Cummings, of Chicago, Ill. and one son, Steve Cummings also of Chicago. Also survives are three half brothers, Billie Joe Clark, Thomas Clark and Larry Clark all of Portageville and three half sisters, Bernice Whitemore, Evelyn Darnall and Sandra Riddle of Portageville.
Interment was in Portageville cemetery with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home of Hayti in charge of the service.
