Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at Westside Presbyterian Church for Arthur Doyle Burden,, 415 6th Ave. SW. The Rev. Wayne Davis will conduct the service. Mr. Burden died yesterday at 6 p.m. at his residence.
Mr. Burden is survived by his widow, Mrs. Arthur Burden; three daughters, Mrs. Jean Nix, Fort Walton, Fla; Mrs. Wilda Nichols, Decatur; and Miss Bett Burden, Decatur; one son, Lamar Burden; two brothers, S.D. Burden, Cash, Ark; and Marvin Burden of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lovett, Lewisburg, Tenn, and Mrs. Viola Hagood, Town Creek; and two grandchildren.
The body will be at the family residence until tomorrow morning. Guntharp Brown Service Funeral Home is in charge of the burial.
Pallbearers are to be guards at Wolverine Copper Tubing. Co.
