Cheryl Lea Anders, age 51, died Tuesday, May 21, 1996 in Wellington. She was born August 22, 1944 in Dothan, AL to Jessie H. and Elise Childress Wilson. She graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1962 and married William (Bill) E. Anders on July 2, 1966 in Wellington.
She had been a beautician and was a teller for First Federal Savings and Loan for five years. Mrs. Anders was a member of the First Christian Church where she was active in the Ladies Circle. She was a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Volunteer Fire Department and a former Cub Scout Leader.
Survivors include her husband, Bill, of the home; two sons, Jay Anders of Amarillo and Wes Anders of Wellington; her mother, Elise Wilson of Wellington; a sister, Patricia Wilson of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Jessica and Erin Anders of Wellington and three step-granddaughters: Lilanya and Whitney Hundley of Houston and Bailey Richardson of Wheeler.
