Albertha was an only child, her father was, Francicus Froger. She lived with And devoted herself as the caregiver for her deaf mother Elizabeth Johanna Forger. They Both Came Upon the agreement that whoever Albertha shall marry, Accepts her mother to live with them Wherever they may move or settle. Albertha's hair was So Beautiful that while in Holland, She was a hair model.
When Albertha met Johannes Doornenbal, She fell in love with him as he did her. He wanted more for himself and Albertha, He also wanted more for her mother, John moved from Holland to the United States, Settled Then sent for Albertha and her mother Elizabeth. Albertha highly disliked the place they were living in WA and said to John that there was a small Dutch town called Lynden, That is where she wanted to be and that is where she was going. So they made Lynden their home.
John and Albertha were married in the year of 1910. Not only was she a dedicated wife & daughter, Albertha was a loving devoted mother to 7 Children As well, She and John had three boys and four girls. The oldest is Gerrigje, Then Elizabeth, Joanne, Madelyn, Jerry, Johnny, and Frankie. The last two children,(Two Baby Boys)both died from birth complications.
After John Died, Albertha married again, To a man named Paul Van Walderveen, Whose wife had passed also years ago. She and John have many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a few great-great-great grandchildren. She will be loved always, And missed dearly.
