My 4th great grandfather,Solomon McGuire was born to parents Reverend Cornelius Neeley McGuire and Esther Stratton McGuire in Tazewell County ,Virginia. Solomon's father was a Methodist minister, and there is history written of Reverend Cornelius in Virginia, and in Floyd County, Kentucky. Solomon had siblings and one of them was named Jane McGuire( more will be added later).
Solomon married Susannah Garrett McGuire, a daughter of Elimelich Garrett, and Sarah "Sally" Vaughn.

Solomon and Susannah lived in Floyd County, Kentucky, migrated later to Paris,Edgar, Illinois,he purchased farm land. He and Susannah lived in Paris,Edgar,Illinois for many years. Solomon died there, I have records of his death and burial. After his death Susannah moved to Agency,Iowa Wapello county. She died in Batavia,Jefferson,County and is buried in Batavia cemetery. Her son Hardin Harry McGuire lived in Agency, Wapello, Iowa. Her daughter Margaret Peggy Jane McGuire Neville and family lived near her, according to records, in Agency, Wapello, Iowa.
Some of the grown children migrated to Oregon and Washington Territories with their wives and husbands and children, in the 1860's and 1870's.

3.Margaret Peggy Jane McGuire ,married Edward Thompson Neville. They had children.

4.Cassanna McGuire, married Joseph L. Stubblefield (confirmed research April 16,2013),married April 20,1876.
No children of her marriage.

5.Hardin Harry McGuire 2 wives 1. America Whalen
They had children
2. Elizabeth Carmen. No children of this marriage.

6.Harvey M. McGuire..not married

7.Barton Anderson McGuire ...married 2 times...
1. Sarah Sally Dillman Dunnaway, she died in Latah, Idaho.
They had children.
2. Ellen Murphy Self McGuire , a widow with her children. No children together of this marriage.

More biography will be written for my 3rd great grandfather Solomon from my research. It is on going. to help other researchers.
