Frances M. Lipps, 95, passed away at St. Paul Hermitage, Beech Grove. Frances was born in Indianapolis, IN to Henry N. and Stella (Fuller) Lipps. She had four siblings, Sister Marie Joan, Sister Marie Agnese, and Alice May, who, along with her parents, have preceded her in death. She is survived by her youngest sibling, Sister Marilyn Therese Lipps, Sister of Providence, who resides at St. Mary of the Woods. Frances attended St. Patrick Catholic School and graduated from St. John Academy. She was employed for 30 years as an Employee Adjudicator for the Veterans Administration. Frances was recognized for her 30 years of service as a superintendent. She retired in 1971. Frances was an avid bowler, earning several awards. She was very active in many organizations at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Frances enjoyed a friendly game of cards and was always ready to travel to seek new ventures. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 17 at St. Paul Hermitage, Beech Grove, Indiana. Arrangements handled by G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, Indianapolis. Frances will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery.
