Funeral services for Robert Harland Benson, 60, who died Saturday night at his home, 1787 Wall Street, after an illness of several years, will be held today at 2 o'clock at the Courtland Lee Andrews funeral home. Rev. Harold Buckland will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview cemetery.
Mr. Benson, a carpenter and contractor by trade, was a member of the contractors' union here for 38 years. He was born in Lakeview, Pa., and educationed in Binghamton.
Survivors are his wife, Lillie Crogier Benson; a son, Harold; one daughter, Dorothy; a sister, Minnie Everson of Binghamton; two brothers, Harvey Benson of Syracuse and Newell Benson of Binghamton.
