July 24, 1903 issue, Trenton Register:
Mrs. Adams, mother of our former citizen R. O. Adams, arrived here from the East last Friday evening and went over to the driftwood to visit relatives and friends.

Sept 1903 issue, Trenton Register:
R. O. Adams came from Grand Island to look after business and visit his parents-in-law, J. H. Hindle & family and his wife who is here visiting her parentrs.

Sept 30, 1904 issue, Trenton Register:
Will Hinkle's children have scarlet fever.
