Charles T. Morgan, aged 77, well-known resident of East Chattanooga, died at his home, 2511 Dodson Avenue, Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock, following several weeks illness. Mr. Morgan was reared on a farm near Georgetown, in old James County, and spent almost his entire life in that community, moving to East Chattanooga three years ago. He is survived by his wife, three sons, James, of Hixon, Joe of Tyner, and Luther Morgan of this city. Four daughters, Mrs. Jennie Wolfe, Mrs. Sarah Moore of this city, Mrs. Elizabeth Robeson of Ooltewah, and Mrs. Tennessee Davis of Snow Hill. Funeral services will be held from the residence this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, the Rev. G. T. King to be the officiating minister and the interment will follow in McDonald cemetery.
