Funeral services for Mr. Alford White were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Caldwell United Pentecostal Church, Reverends Wesley Manning, Wayne Smith, and Roland George officiated. Interment will be on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Flatwoods Cemetery.

Mr. White, age 78, of Kelly, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 8, 2011, at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.

He was native of Richton, Mississippi. A member of Caldwell United Pentecostal Church, where he was a devoted and faithful believer that loved the ministry. A hard worker who enjoyed his family and life.

He is preceded in death by wife of 52 years, Josephine Dunnam White; one grandson Justin Pilcher.

He is survived by his wife, Fay Hart White of Kelly; three sons, Ronnie White & Deanna of Ozark, Missouri, Ronald White of Winnsboro, Marty Hart & Sharon of Kelly, Louisiana; four daughters, Barbara Bolton & Charlie of Columbia, Glenda Pilcher & Jimmy of Libuse, Angie Champagne & Louis of Columbia, Debbie Hart of Kelly; one sister, Sally Dunnam of Florida; thirteen grandchildren, Sonnya White, Gwen Lachney & Dave, Jessica Bolton, Jason Bolton, Wesley Manning & Charla, Matthew Champagne, Stacy Norman & Dave, Christina Ferrell & Steve, Derek Barksdale & Heather, Kyle Hart, Megan Hart, Melody Hooper & Jeff, Chadd Roberts & Ashly; along with twenty-three great-grandchildren.

The White Family would like to recognize Faye's family as his extended family, and for being such a wonderful part of his life for the past six years.

Honorary Pallbearers were Roland Garcia, James Harrington, Charles Jewell, Larry Sikes, R.J. Bolton, Reverend Buddy Spence, Mike Manning, Jason Bolton, Harold "Frog" White, and Arthur "Bud" Dunnam.
