"Ernest E. Gann, 72, of 415 S. Fannin St., died Saturday, Nov. I9, 1994. Private services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery at Denver. Local arrangements are by Memorial Chapel of Schooler- Gordon - Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mr. Gann moved back to Amarillo in 1980 from Denver. He was a veteran, serving in the Army during WWII. He was a retired welder and a former minister. Survivors include four sons, Ernest Ray Gann, Elvin Jack Gann, Ronald Lee Gann, and David Jerome Gann, all of Amarillo; two daughters, Margaret Duke of Amarillo, and Marcella Ackley of Kenard; his ex-wife, Evelyn Gann of Amarillo; three brothers, Jackie Gann, and Alford Gann, both of Amarillo, and Billy Wayne Gann of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and 20 grandchildren. The family will be at 705 S. Houston St. The body will be available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home."
