Mary died about 1688 and is buried here in an unmarked grave. She was the daughter of Richard Foxwell and Anne Shelly. She married Hugh Cole Jan. 8, 1654. Hugh was born 1628 in England.
On 17 June 2015, Betty Johnson O'Brien erected this marker for Mary Foxwell Cole and her husband, Hugh Cole, I. She ordered the marker in South Carolina and drove it up in the trunk of her car to this cemetery and erected it there.
