P. T. Makinson Was in Excellent
Health and Spirits When He Re-
tired Yesterday Morning.
P. [sic] T. Makinson died suddenly at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home at 2621 [sic] Terrace street. Mr. Makinson was employed as a night watchman at the Interstate flour mill and slept during the day. He was in good health and excellent spirits when he retired at 6 o'clock yesterday morning. About 2:30 his wife tried to awaken him and found him dying.
Dr. J. E. Moses was hastily summoned, and he found Makinson beyond human aid. Deputy Coroner Langsdale was notified and viewed the remains, but did not determine the cause of death.
However, it is believed that death was due to heart disease and the infirmities of old age.
Mackinson [sic] was 63 years old and a native of Indiana. He came to Kansas City seven years ago. His wife and three grown daughters and a grown son survive him. Undertaker Gates took charge of the remains.
