Harry Arthur, 60, dies suddenly near Saratoga.
Harry Arthur, 60, of Saratoga, for several years agent for the Farmers Mutual Insurance company of Indianapolis, died suddenly at 6 p. m. Thursday at the farm two miles north of Saratoga. He had gone into a pasture field after cattle when stricken with a heart attack.
Mr. Arthur was born June 16, 1883 in Randolph county, the son of Albert and Ruah (Coats) Arthur. On February 6, 1904 he was married to Cora Sipe, who survives with one sister and three brothers: Nellie, wife of Orville Coddington of southeast of Saratoga, Lester of Spartanburg, Clifford of Muncie and Merle of near Parker. Two infant sons and a brother preceded him in death.
The body was taken to the Williamson funeral home in Portland for burial preparation and will be returned to the residence this afternoon.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Saratoga Methodist church, of which Mr. Arthur was a member, in charge of Rev. Milton Persons. Burial will be in the Saratoga cemetery.
