Mrs. Cora S. Arthur, 81, Saratoga, died about noon on Thursday at the Union City Memorial hospital. She had been in failing health for two years.
Born October 24, 1883, in Ward Township, Randolph County, Mrs. Arthur was a daughter of Conrad A and Sarah C Limbert Sipe. On February 6, 1904, she married Harry Arthur who died in August, 1943.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Bousman of near Saratoga and Mrs. Hallie Reish of Alligan, Mich., nieces and nephews. One son, five brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Saratoga Methodist Church of which Mrs. Arthur was a member. The Rev. Dwight Stoner will officiate. Burial will be in the Saratoga cemetery.
Friends may call at the Williamson and Spencer funeral home, Portland, after noon on Friday.
