Lionel "Butch" J. Arroyo Sr. passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. He was 68 years old. He was the beloved husband of the late Terrell Ladner Arroyo of 47 years. Lionel was the son of the late Lionel Arroyo and Lucille Combel Arroyo. He is survived by three children, Dawnell Bergeron (David), Deanna Jackson (Freddie) and Lionel Arroyo Jr (Lisa).

He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Courtney, Chris, Dylan, Desiree, Mya, and Kenley.

He is the brother of Donald Arroyo and the late Sharon A. Hannah. He was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers after 25 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. tomorrow at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
