On Thursday, March 14, 2002, Rev. John Schlamp, Grenfell, Sask., died at the age of 95 years. The funeral service will be held in the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Grenfell, Sask., on Monday, March 18, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. Officiant: Pastor Dennis R. Irving. Interment in St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Cemetery, North Grenfell. Predeceased by his parents, John and Caroline (nee Schick) Schlamp, eight brothers, John, Jacob, Valentine, Chris, William, Adam, Philip and Peter Schlamp, six sisters, Elizabeth Wolfe, Caroline Urschel, Katherine Piller, Sophie Piller, Matilda Golschesky and Emma Fehler. John is survived by his loving wife Matilda, his children: son Duane (Ingrid) and their children Corinna and Jennifer; son, Daryl (Shirley) and their children Angela (Duane) Doane and their son, Quinn, Daryn (Jaclyn), and Becky Schlamp daughter, Valerie (Wilf) Schick and their children Ryan and Brittany; son Leroy (Gail) and their children Brad (Karen) and their son, Bergen, Jared and fiance Kristen, and Kimberly Schlamp; son, David (Wendy) and their children, Kyle (Chrystal), and Erin Schlamp; daughter, Carmen (Merv) Cole and their children, Derek (Melodie), Regan and friend Amy, and Lindsay Cole. Two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Schlamp and Edith Schlamp; Adele Schlamp and many nieces and nephews.
