Mrs. Hamilton Funeral Service Held on Wednesday.

Mrs. M. L. Hamilton, 92, of Baton Rouge, died Monday morning at Baton Rouge general Hospital following an illness for 2 weeks.
Services were held at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon at Columbia Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Loftin, pastor of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the Columbia cemetery.
A native of Collins, she was born February 15, 1882, the daughter of Dan C. and Mary Stamps Rogers. She was reared in Collins and following her marriage lived in Columbia for a number of years. After the death of her husband, Robert B. Hamilton, in 1919, she returned to Collins, later moving to Baton Rogue. She was a member of the Baptist Church and had formerly been active in the WMU.
Survivors include 3 sons, Robert E. Hamilton of Hammond, LA; Willard Hamilton of Baton Rogue and Fenton Hamilton of Pontiac, Mich; one daughter, Mrs. A. E. Carpenter of Scotsdale, AZ; 2 sisters, Mrs. A. E. Brown of Joplin, MO; and Mrs. W. G. Gray of Columbia, one brother, L. T. Rogers of Jackson, 7 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
