Peterboro, October 1 - At the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Fred Gough, on Sunday, September 28, occurred the death of Mrs. James Lynch. She was 97 years old last October [sic - abt. 92]. Her maiden name was Hannah Woodard.

She was born at Annsville, Oneida Co. After her marriage to Mr. [Harvey] Eddy she lived in Fenner for a number of years. Later she married James Lynch and for over 50 years she has been a resident of Peterboro. She is survived by one son, Louis [Lewis] Eddy of St. Paul. Funeral services were held at her home on Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Rev. Mrs. Annable officiating and interment made in the local cemetery.
