The death of Augustus P. Woodard of Addy occurred Friday morning. Mr. Woodard was 89 years of age, and had resided in Stevens county the last 21 years. He was a native of New York state, and was born Aug. 22, 1827. he is survived by four sons: Walter L. Woodard of Addy, formerly sheriff of Stevens county; Arthur Woodard, also of Addy; a son at Nez Perce, and another son whose address is unknown. Funeral services will be held at the Addy M.E. church Sunday afternoon at 1:30, Rev. Osborn, pastor, preaching the funeral sermon. Interment in the Addy cemetery.
