WEBER CITY---- Wrightly Hammond, 63, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday. He was a farmer and a former employee of the old Blue Ridge Glass Company (now part of American Saint Gobain) in Kingsport.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret Peters Hammond, daughters; Misses Nanilee **note: should be Mamilee**, Beatrice and Wilma Hammond, all of Weber City, Va., Mrs. Hazel Mathisen, Fargo, N.D., Mrs Louella Martin and Mrs. Elizabeth Strong, Weber City, sons; James and Herbert, Weber City, Va., and Paul Hammond in the Army in Germany; a sister;Mrs. Mamie Powers; Kingsport, stepsisters; Mrs. H.B. Gilliam, Kingsport, Mrs. C.A. Lane and Mrs, A.J. Lane, Gate City, Va., brothers; Cain, Kingsport, TN , Kelly and Omer, Gate City, Va., and Colonel Hammond, Kingsport, half-brothers; Kemp Hammond, Gate City, Va., Loran, Watseka, Ill., and Coy Hammond, Rockeville, MD; a step-brother; Rev Willie Jennings, Weber City, Va., 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gate City Funeral Home.

WEBER CITY---Funeral Services for Wrightly Hammond, 63, who dies Tuesday, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Gate City Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Wrightly Salling and the Rev Lester Webb officiating.
Burial will follow at Peters Cemetery, Daniel Boone. The body will remain at Gate City Funeral Home.
