John Wolfe, son-in-law of Mrs. Mary Breen, of this city, died this morning of stomach and liver troubles in a hospital at Omaha, NE, to which place he was taken yesterday from his home in Calloway, NE. Mr. Wolfe was about 46 years of age and is survived by a wife and one child. He was born in Osage township, this county, and for many years lived in that vicinity. His wife, whose name before her marriage was Miss Kate Breen, is a former resident of Streator. The deceased was a cousin of Richard Wolfe, of Eagle township and Arthur Wolfe, of this city and a brother of James Wolfe of Ottawa. At the time of his death he was engaged in business at Calloway. It is expected that the remains will be brought to Streator and interred in the Catholic cemetery in Eagle township, beside Mr. Wolfe's parents.

The remains of John Wolfe will arrive here from Nebraska on the Santa Fe train at 6:30 tomorrow morning and will be taken to the home of Thomas Breen, brother-in-law of the deceased. The funeral will leave Mr. Breen's resident at 9 o'clock for the Church of the Immaculate Conception, where the services will be held. Interment in Riverwood Cemetery.

*apparently both newspaper articles were wrong on the burial - as John's headstone is found in St. Mary's Cemetery, Streator.

Kate Breen Wolfe re- married to Peter DeKam who died in Streator in 1930. Kate and John F. Wolfe's daughter, Kathleen Wolfe married Raymond Jennett and in 1930 was living in Stockton, San Joaquin, CA. It is unknown where or when Kate Breen Wolfe DeKam died. She may have gone to California to live with/near her daughter.
