MILLINOCKET - Dora C. Cousins, 88, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, with her husband by her side at her home, after a brief illness. She was born June 7, 1922, in Limestone, the daughter of Leo and Alice (Johndro) Cowett. During the years involving World War II, Dora worked as a welder at South Portland Shipyard. At the end of the war she moved to Caribou and was employed at a local florist as a floral designer.
She enjoyed very much all the trips with her husband, Ralph, to his Airborn Division Reunions

Dora is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ralph "Cuzz" Cousins of Millinocket; a son, Louis L. Cousins and his wife, Melissa, of Farmington; a daughter, Millicent M. Franck of Millinocket; seven grandchildren, Louis Matthew Cousins of Texas, Rose Mary Allen, Dustyn Blodegett, Isaac Cousins and Dylan Cousins, all of Farmington, Katherine Ann Franck and Michael Steven Franck, both of Scarborough; a great-granddaughter, Hayley Rose Allen of Farmington; a sister, Theresa Perrault of Caribou; several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. In addition to her parents,

Dora was predeceased by two brothers and seven sisters.
