Mrs. A. Jane Hottinger, 72, of Gaithersburg, died Sunday, April 28, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville. Born Feb. 29, 1920, in Gaithersburg, she was a daughter of the late Mattie and Elmer 0. Offutt. She was the wife of W. Virgil Hottinger. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Virgil C. Hottinger of Gaithersburg, William E. Hottinger of Gettysburg, Pa., and the Rev. G. Robert Hottinger of Martinsburg, W. Va.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Barber Funeral Home, 21525 Laytonsville Road, Laytonsville. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
