"Mamie" Gaston Reed (1887–1922), Grady Hill Gaston (1891–1972), James Bentley Gaston (1890–1960), James Bostick Gaston Jr. (1893–1958) and William Dickinson Gaston (1903–1977). She was known by her family and friends as "Carrie".
On October 12th 1910, "Carrie" married Singleton Gideon Howell of Atlanta, Georgia, son of Harry & Mary (Kidd) Howell. They never had children of their own, but adopted their niece, Carolyn Gaston Reed. Around 1920, they move to Dallas, Texas where they lived the rest of their life.
