"At the extreme old age of ninety years, Mrs. Jane Ragsdale of Veale township, died Sunday afternoon at her home while sitting in a chair, her death being due to the infirmities of advanced years.
"...and had been a resident of Daviess County since 1857. She was married to William Ragsdale at Aurora, this state. Her husband died in Veale township in 1894. She is survived by six children as follows: James E. Ragsdale, Ada Ragsdale and Charles D. Ragsdale of Veale township; Mrs. Smith Horn, Washington; John F. Ragsdale of California, and George B. Ragsdale of Evansville. William Ragsdale, another son, died about two years ago. After his death Charles D. Ragsdale, a son, returned to Daviess county and had been living with his mother on the home place ever since..."
