Collins - Frances Furbis Sikes, 77, died Saturday, Jan. 12 at her residence, under the care of Hinesville Hospice. The Pawtuckett, RI native was reared in Massachusetts, living in Pembroke for 42 years, moving to Collins in 1995. She was a homemaker and a member of Harvelle Baptist Church in Denmark.
Survivors: husband of 49 years, Rev. Jim Sikes, Jr. of Collins; sons and daughter-in-law, James C. Sikes of AR, Kenneth and Kathy Sikes of Bloomingdale and Craig A. Sikes of Alma; six grandchildren; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: begins at 6:00 p. m. Sunday, Jan. 13, McCall-Anderson Funeral Home.
Funeral: 11:00 a. m. Monday, Jan. 14 at the Chapel of McCall-Anderson Funeral Home.
Burial: Northside Cemetery.
