SMITHVILLE -- Funeral services for Jo Puckett Bradford, 81, of Smithville, were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Puckett Cemetery.

Mrs. Bradford died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at her residence.

Mrs. Bradford was a member of Buckners Chapel UMC and attended Trinity Assembly in Algood. She was a grocery store worker and also worked in a shirt factory.

Her family includes her husband of 58 years, Ralph Bradford of Smithville; a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Gina Bradford of Smithville; a daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Hugh Davenport of Celina; a daughter-in-law, Suzanne Bradford of Smithville; two sisters, Alice Foster and Christine Prichard, both of Smithville; nine grandchildren, Brad and Matt Davenport, Jennifer Langford, Mandy, Chase, Cory and Alli Bradford and Adam and Matthew Lindsey; and four great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Nolan, Anaiah and Emmy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbridge Kiah and Bonnie Elizabeth Tittsworth Puckett; a son, Alan Bradford; and two brothers, Wilburn and Ernest Puckett.

Pallbearers will be Brad and Matt Davenport, Chase and Cory Bradford, Rodney Langford and Adam and Matthew Lindsey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike, Rick and Tony Hawkins, Tim and Eddie Puckett, Brent, Mike and Rick Foster, Randy Prichard and Dwain Rowe.

Bro. Jim Moore officiated at the services.
