Norvel "Lindy" Lindelof passed away March 9, 2011. He was born in Oulu, Wisconsin, on May 4, 1923 to Peter and Sina Lindelof, the eighth of their eleven children. He graduated from Superior Central High School in Superior, WI, and served in the US Army during WWII. In 1950 he married Georgine "Jeanne" Hobley and they settled in Edmonds, WA. Lindy co-founded Lindbrook Construction in the 1950s, and he successfully managed construction projects throughout the Northwest and Alaska until his retirement at age 65. Lindy was an early riser who was always eager to tackle the day's activities, be they fishing, gardening, or meeting friends for coffee. He was a caring, generous man who will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He was predeceased by his son Dan. Surviving is his wife; his daughters: Debra Hays, Leigh Ann Killam, and Lauren Torgerson; his children's families; and many other family members and friends.
