Thelma Rose Berry, daughter of Isaac and Bell Berry, was born April 10, 1927 in Hayes County, Nebr. She departed this life Mar. 6, 1963 in the Beatrice Hospital at the age of 35 years, 10 months and 23 days. She leaves to mourn her passing her father and wife; four brothers and five sisters: Elbert Berry and Phebe Stretch of Wauneta; Nelda Gehrke of Big Springs; Jim (I.J.) Berry of Cozad; Orley Berry of Broomfield, Colo.; Donna Ruggles of McCook; Marcella Purdy of Mabton, Wash.; Myron Berry of Ogallala; Nona West of Lincoln; her uncles, aunts and a host of other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her Mother in 1960.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Hayes Center Church of Christ with Brother Orville Hunt as officiating minister. Margaret Burham and Violet Hunt sang "Beyond The Sunset", "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me" and "Going Down The Valley". Bearers were Harry Neverve, Cap Rutherford, Albert Schuman, Roy Colson, Elmer Laird and Richard Bullock.
Burial was in the Hayes Center Cemetery with Johnson service in charge.
