Phebe Alice Troxell, 79, McCook, died Wednesday (July 28, 1993) at Community Hospital in McCook.

She was born May 4, 1914, in Hayes Center, to Isaac K. "Ike" and Susan Isabell (Troxel) Berry.

Prior to moving to McCook in 1982, she lived in Wauneta.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in McCook.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Elbert Edward Berry.

Survivors include one daughter, Alice and husband Richard Sailors of San Mateo, Fla.; three brothers, I. J. "Jim" Berry of Curtis; Orley Berry of McCook; and Myron "Mike" Berry of Ogallala; four sisters, Nelda Pindell of Cheyenne, Wyoming.; Donna and husband Leslie Ruggles of McCook; Marcella and husband Ray Purdy of Goldendale, Washington; and Nona and husband Gail West of Lincoln; three grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Services will be 5 p.m., Sunday at the Carpenter Breland Funeral Chapel in McCook, with Rick Eldred officiating. Burial will be in the Hayes Center Cemetery at 6:30 p.m.

Visitation will be today until 6 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m., until service time.

Memorials may be given in her memory and left at the funeral home.

Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook is in charge of arrangements.
