WILLIAM ARNOLD

William C. Arnold, Bradenton, Fla., died recently at Manatee Hospital.

Born and raised in Alexandria, he graduated from Alexandria High School, then served in the U.S. Navy signal corps during World War II.

He had lived formerly in Anderson, Indianapolis, Richmond, and Danville before moving to Florida. He was the owner of Saturn Motor Sales in Bradenton.

He is survived by his wife Virginia (Cartwright) Arnold; a son, Michael Arnold of Indianapolis; a daughter, Angela (Mrs. Tom) Martin of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Kristen, Evan, Katherine, and Adam Martin; his mother, Goldie Arnold Wales; and four sisters, Louise (Mrs. Byron) Cunningham, Donnabelle (Mrs. Wilfred) Allen, Janet (Mrs. James) Spade, all of Alexandria, and Jean (Mrs. William) Cure of Martinsville.

Funeral services are pending in Florida.

Memorial contributions may be made to the hospice center of Manatee Hospital, 301 43rd St. West, Bradenton, Fla. 34209.
