Mary is the daughter of Joseph Davis Sr.(1700-1732)and Experience Willis (Cir 1688-Cir 1740).


CHILDREN: "The ancestry and descendants of Solomon Davis" by Merle H. Davis, page 12:
"Mary Davis Simonds established a claim to the affection of Williamstown by giving birth April 8, 1753 to a daughter Rachel, the first white child to be born in the township....In the next 20 years the Simonds had ten more children born in Williamstown."
