Howard Franklin Clemens was born 1 June 1916 in Beaver Creek, MN, the son of Harley Clinton Clemens (1882-1954) & Mae Jennie Holmbeck Clemens (1889-1965). He married Florence Jones Lundberg on 6 June 1942 in Minneapolis, MN, who had been widowed in 1938 at the age of 23. They had two children: John (b.1943) and Kathleen (b.1946). After fifty years of marriage, Florence died in 1993. Howard died 11 July 2002 in St. Louis Park, MN at the age of 86, and was buried with Florence in Lakewood Cemetery.
