She is preceded in death by her parents; sister; brother; beloved sister-in-law, Barbara Kimmins; great-granddaughter, Bronwyn MacDonald; and husband, Donald.
On Jun 22, 1940, she married Donald Bradford Clutter of West Finlay, PA. They moved to Warren, OH, early in 1942, where Don worked as a machinist for the war effort. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years, returning to work after her family was grown. She worked as a cook in the executive dining room at Packard Electric in Warren and later became head cook at Champion High School for many years.
Mary moved to Bozeman in 1989. She quickly became busy working part-time in the kitchen of the Bozeman School system, assisting her good friend, Eleanor Rogers, with her sewing business, and volunteering at the Living History Farm at the Museum of the Rockies and the Community Food Coop. She attended Grand Avenue Christian Church.
She is survived in her immediate family by son and daughter-in-law, Charles Lynn and Delores Clutter of Johnson, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Richard James; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Diana Cooksey Clutter; Bill MacDonald and Kathye Wolter, all of Bozeman. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Brian (Colleen) MacDonald of Olympia, WA, Amy (H. William) Erlanson of Orland, ME, Jason (Patricia) MacDonald of Wasilla, AK, Bruce (Laura) Clutter of Delaware, OH, Tracy (Greg) Omerzo of North Bloomfield, OH, and Lucas Clutter of Bozeman; and 13 great-grandchildren: Abigail, William, Virginia, and Andrew Erlanson of Orland, Maine, Connor, Lena, Grace, Samuel, and Jase MacDonald of Wasilla, AK, Brinn Clutter of Delaware, OH, Hunter and Wyatt Omerzo of North Bloomfield, OH. She is also survived by her nieces, Susan (Rick) Cozadd of Warren, OH, Kathi Kimmins of Baldwinsville, NY.; and nephew, William L. Spindler of Turnersville, NJ.
