Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Bigham celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on 2 August at the old home place where she was raised and they were married.
Three of the women who attended the celebration were also present at the wedding at the same house in 1908. They were Maggie Wade, Mrs. Zora Eddleman and Mrs. Mattie Shahan. The oldest one present was Mrs. Bigham's cousin, 90 year old Frank Ribble.
Mrs. Bigham is the daughter of the late W.A. Ribble better known as "Uncle Bill" who helped organize Young County.
