THOMASVILLE--Funeral for Claude Warren(Jack) Jones, 80, of Liberty Dr., who died Friday, will be at 4 pm Sunday at Fair Grove United Methodist Church by the Rev. James P. Clodfelter. Burial will be in Fair Grove UMC cemetery. Mr. Jones was born in Thomasville, April 3, 1908, a son of Arthur Edwin and Elizabeth Russell Jones. He had been a resident of Thomasville all his life and was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was owner-operating of Community Food Center, retiring in 1967, and was a real estate developer having helped Lakeside Village and Glen Gail Acres. He was a member of Fair Grove UMC and was married to Essie Rothrock, who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Diana J. Crews of Lakeshore Dr., one sister, Mrs. Mable Ingram of the Methodist Home in Charlotte, one brother, Paul R. Jones of Liberty Dr., and 2 grandchildren.
