1) Charlotte Moore b. c1835;
2) Nancy Moore b. c1837;
3) Synthia (Cynthia) Moore b: c1838; and
4) Agnes Moore b: c1840.
All claim to be born in Florida but I think they were actually born in Georgia because John & Mary Peterson Moore did not leave Georgia until about 1842. They all seem to fall off the Census radar in Florida at 1850.
John was son of John Moore II (a Revolutionary Soldier; son of John Moore from Ireland and wife Hannah Hollingsworth) and wife Winnie Hardeman (daughter of Thomas Hardeman, R.S., and wife Elizabeth Margetts). John "R.S." died in, and is considered to be buried in, the Saint George Parish District of Georgia, which is now called Burke County. Winnie seems to be lost to history. She might also be buried there.
Even though John Moore III did not officially divorce Margaret Elizabeth "Martha" Jones, he abandoned her and the children, and married again. His 2nd marriage was to Mary Peterson in Duval County, Florida on 13 April 1854 . They supposedly had at least one daughter "Nancy Moore". Their whereabouts are currently unknown.
