Lillie Catherine Martin Phipps was the eldest daughter of John Phipps and Elizabeth Catherine Coast Martin. Married to Andrew Jackson Phipps on April 2, 1902. She and Andrew were the parents of Ethel May, Carrie Loretta (Blakley), Ann Elizabeth (Smith), Dorothy Alberta, Mildred Grace, Twila Lucille, Charles Allison, Mary Genevieve (Farren), Hazel Irene, Zella Ruth (Baker), Samuel Lloyd, Lawrence Carlisle, Andrew Jackson Jr., and Clair David Phipps.
