ROBERT L. WALLACE, 91, died Saturday at Jay County Hospital, Portland. Born in Jay County, he was a retired Pike Township farmer. He had been the Jay County Surveyor for several years and Jay County Assessor for 28 years. His wife, Blanche, died in 1970. Surviving are three stepsons, Bill Boozier of Hartford City, Tom Boozier of Portland and Roger Boozier of Anderson; two stepdaughters, Treva Meyers of Covina, Calif., and Lois Luttman of Redkey; a brother, Daniel P. of Portland; seven stepgrandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren. Services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Portland Chapel of the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home. Calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial in Green Park Cemtery, Portland.
