DEATH OF CHRISTINA MILLER
Mrs. Christina Miller, aged 76 years, died Monday morning at 5 o'clock at her home in Franklin. Death was due to intirmities incident to old age. She was born in Drasdorb, Saxon Deering, Germany, and came with her husband, Nicholas Miller, to America in 1849, settling in Franklin. Mr. Miller died thirteen years ago.
Seven children survive, Mrs. Benton Ridgeway, Mrs. Alwin Carlsted and Mrs. John Rhinehart of Indianapolis, and Mrs. J.V. Spears, Mrs. Anna Trefflich, Samuel D. Miller, and Miss. Laura Miller of this city.
For the fifty one years of residence in Franklin, she had lived at the corner of Jackson and Monroe.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence conducted by Rev. L.P. Marshall, pastor of the Presbyterian church of whice church Mrs. Miller had long been a member. Burial at Greenlawn.
