Elsie D. Bader of 2525 Taft Drive, Boulder, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Boulder Memorial Hospital. She was 83.
Mrs. Bader was born in McCook, Neb., on Dec. 4, 1903, the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Dietz. She married Fred Aaron Bader in Kirk, Colo., on Dec. 26, 1923. He died on Oct. 8, 1978.
She moved to Boulder from Kirk in 1937 and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bader was a member of the Nazarene church and was a longtime employee of Luckel Cleaners in Boulder. She was active in the Boulder Neighborhood (mdp) Sewing Circle.
She is survived by two sisters, Ester Holstine of Loveland and Lena Scruby of Kirk; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. A son, two daughters and a brother preceded her in death.
Visitation will be all day today and Friday until 1 p.m. at Howe Mortuary in Boulder. Graveside services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder with Pastor Bill Easterling of Chapel in the Hills Church in Coal Creek Canyon officiating. [Published 10 September 1987]
