Southbridge-Joseph Francois Boudreau, 62, of 85 Worcester Street,died last night at Worcester City Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
He was a former employee of the Southbridge Highway Department, retiring because of illness in 1977.
Mr. Boudreau leaves his wife, Irene (Mercier) Boudreau; two daughters, Lucille (Mrs. Juan) Cosme of Southbridge, Massachusetts and Rachel(Mrs. Arvin) McKisskick of Charlton, Massachusetts; a sister Rita LePage of Southbridge, Massachusetts; four brothers, N. Leo, Henry, Armand and Paul Boudreau, all of Southbridge, Massachusetts; six grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
He was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts, a son of Clement and Alexandrina (Desourdy) Boudreau.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday November 1981 from the Bernard R. Guertin Funeral Home, 231 Mechanic Street, with a mass at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Old Notre Dame Cemetery.
