As you enter the front gate in the oldest part of the cemetery, there is a small grave that is the infant of a family traveling through Limestone County in 1922 in a covered wagon. The baby died and was buried in Cobb Cemetery. The marker was placed there by a resident that choose to give the baby a place that was not an unmarked grave. The name of the traveling family was not known nor was the baby's name. As with more than 224 other unmarked graves in Cobb, this baby is known to God.
