Mosey Bower, age 86, of Marshall, died on March 26, 2011 in Harrison, Arkansas. He was born in Kay, Arkansas on March 28, 1924 to Johnny Bower and Frances (Thompson) Bower.

Mosey traveled and worked in California and Ohio after he served in the Civilian Conservation Corp. He also worked with Nuclear 1 construction. He helped build several small bridges in Searcy County that we all still drive over today. Mosey loved to work on his farm and hunt.

His parents; his wife, Hazel Watts Bower; one son, Don Edgar Bower; and three brothers precede him in death.

Mosey and Hazel were given six children, five remain on this earth. They are Delmer Bower of Marshall, Thelma Baker of Leslie, Jerry Bower of Carlsbad, TX, Larry Bower of Leslie and Tammie Davis of Harrison. They also have ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Mosey is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews whom he cherished and loved to visit with.

Services for Mosey Bower will be 10:00 AM Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home with Bro. David Watts officiating. Visitation will be 5:00—7:00 PM Wednesday in the Chapel. Burial will be in Chinquapin Cemetery in Marshall.
