Mille Lacs Lake Drowning Victim Well Known Here.
Iver Locken, 53, of Fridley, who was drowned last Saturday when a boat in which he and two companions were fishing, capsized in Mille Lacs Lake, is well known in Blackduck and vicinity. Fred Locken, of Firman, is a brother of the deceased and when notified of the accident Mr. Locken and his son left immediately for Mille Lacs Lake to help in locating the body.
Iver Locken, who was employed by National Pole & Treating Company, had been here many times and has worked with John Oas and other Blackduck men who have been connected with National Pole.
