He was Preceded in death by his wife Clara Bell Hicks Brittian, a son; James Roger Bailey Brittian and a brother Marvin T. Brittian. He is survived by a daughter; Millie B. Markham and husband Richard of Chesney SC, a sister; Ruth M. Bumgardner of Charlotte NC, a half-sister; Essie Peters of Shelby NC, a brother Raymond A Brittian of NC, three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
