MRS. ANNA GERLER DIES
Mrs. Anna Gerler, 75, died at the home of her son, near Ava, October 3. She had been ill four months.
Surviving are 4 sons, Roland, Ava; Edmund, Sparta; Marvin, Robertson, Mo.; and Erwald, San Dimas, Calif.; 3 daughters, Mrs. Albert Meyer, New Wells, Mo.; Mrs. Gerald Phelps, Palmetto, Fla. and Mrs. Martin Oehlert, Perryville, Mo.; 21 grandchildren and 2 brothers. Her husband and one daughter preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 6, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Altenburg, Mo., with Rev. O. E. Herzog officiating. Burial was in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery there. Services were under the direction of the Wilson Funeral Home, Ava.
