Uncle Lidge was the younger brother of Nancy Arbelle Shipman Jarrell and the namesake of my Father, Elijah (Lige) Monroe Jarrell. In 1935 Uncle Lidge traded his farm to my Father and Mother for their farm in Bloomfield where he lived until his passing. I was born on the farm that he traded to my parents.
